“We organised what delegates have told us was ‘the most successful Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society Annual Conference in a long time' in September 2007. Everyone particularly enjoyed the social events and the assistance from the Convention Bureau took all the hassle out of finding the perfect venues. As a result of this success, the UK is bidding to host a commission of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. The help received from the Convention Bureau to date has proved invaluable in preparing the bid to be presented in Beijing in 2008. With their help we are therefore hoping to host another successful event here in 2010.”
