The famous Fenwick's Christmas Window display will be on show from early November. A traditional part of any family Christmas. You can also Visit Santa in his grotto from 19 November in the toy department on the 3rd floor. Or why not have Breakfast with Santa in the Terrace Restaurant every Sunday (22 Nov - 20 Dec) at 10am. Meet Santa, enjoy a delicious breakfast and receive a gift all for only £5.

Once again, the streets around Grey's Monument will be buzzing with life during the weeks leading
up to Christmas and really bringing the festive spirit into the heart of the city.

The Continental Market around Grey's Monument will be held from Mon 23 Nov - Sat 5 Dec with market stalls from Germany, France, Belgium, Holland and Spain, transforming the area into a cosmopolitan market place, packed
full of unusual Christmas gifts and festive foods.

The Christmas Market takes over on Wed 9 Dec - Sun 13 Dec. With over 50 stalls showcasing local traders with a wide variety of original hand crafted gifts and tasty treats. Last chance to stock up on local seasonal goodies which really make the Christmas season special!

Christmas at Metrocentre 

Christmas officially launches at Metrocentre fromthe week commencing Monday 16 November, to coincide with the start of 10 till 10 opening hours. To celebrate the launch, there will be £10,000 in prizes up for grabs throughout the week.

Eldon Square Christmas Lights

ITV Tyne Tees presenters Pam Royle and Ian Payne officially switch on the Christmas lights in Eldon Square Shopping Centre, along with their fairy and elf helpers and members of the panto cast of Aladdin at The Journal Tyne Theatre. Join in the Christmas fun and sing along to carols with music performed by the Salvation Army.

The Children's Foundation Charity Gift Wrap Busy City Centre shoppers can drop off their presents at The Children's Foundation Charity Gift Wrap in Eldon Square and return to collect beautifully wrapped gifts in return for a donation to the charity.
