Monkwearmouth Station Museum

North Bridge Street, Sunderland

Monkwearmouth Station Museum has undergone a £1 million redevelopment and it now offers a modernised, accessible environment for everyone. The Victorian station houses seven new interactive galleries, re-creating and exploring rail travel experiences of times past.
